How We Used our Ultrasound Photo for a Fun Way to Announce the Exciting News

For our twin announcement, we took my ultrasound picture and positioned it on top of a fluffy white blanket with a branch of eucalyptus leaves from our wedding. I love letter boards they are a great way to bring your creative idea to life! I used my letter board to spell out our name with our twins announcement, that said coming on their original due date.

I wish I could say I had two pairs of baby shoes to lay with the announcement, but I purchased them before we found out it was twins. So, I only had one pair! I still love how it turned out and I think everyone got the idea that it was going to be twins.

Twin Pregnancy Announcement Idea

To announce our twin pregnancy to my husband’s family, we had a funny idea to create a bandana for our Frenchie to wear when we took her over to their house for a visit. It said, “Big Sister to 2 Tiny Humans” on it with two sets of tiny feet. It was a really cute way to share the news and my MIL didn’t even notice the two sets of little feet at first. We had to tell her to look closer! It was so much fun.

For my family who lives long distance, I created a little photo box with custom onesies inside. I included a special note with our first ultrasound picture as a perfect way to announce that we were about to become twin parents! I shipped the boxes to them and told them to call me whenever they opened the package so we could be on the phone together to hear their reactions!
